It's almost the weekend! Here are some more photos from our day in Skerries last Sunday.
This is our cat 'Kitser'. My mam's friend saw her being thrown out of a moving car on the motorway and rescued her, but she was moving back to the US so my mam offered to keep her. My dad wasn't impressed but my mam adores her! She's not a very cuddly cat, but she's very pretty. Heehee
I can't swim :(
My Lovie
Can you make out the line of birds? I had to act fast to snap them!
This is the Martello Tower on Shenick Island. Shenick comes from 'sionnach' which is the Irish word for Fox. It is a wildlife reserve nowadays.
This Martello Tower on Red Island (which isn't actually on island) was built in 1794 to defend against the British who were aiding Corsica in their rebellion against the French.
After our walk we got some tea, coffee and lemonade respectively.
I hope you've all had a great week so far! I must admit I'm looking forward to my Saturday morning lie in after a week of not sleeping very well.
