Joe Wright's "Hanna" turned out to be just as great as it looked. As the girl working the box office at Fox Tower told us, it's like the Bourne movies but with a 13-year-old badass girl. Saiorse Ronan (pronounced Sair-sha) is awesome as Hanna, who spend the whole movie on the run from/running toward evil witch/CIA agent Cate Blanchett. It's so nice to see a "female empowerment" action movie that doesn't sexualize the teenage girl at its center. The movie was intense, funny, even a little moving, with a pulsating soundtrack by The Chemical Bros. that will play on loop on your iPod for the indefinite future.
