Mini Haul! Swatches to come.

Hey everyone!

So today on my lunch break I fancied treating myself to something nice so of course; Makeup.

I haven't bought anything new in a little while so why not.

I went straight to MAC in hope that they would have a date for the new and much anticipated 'RiRi <3 MAC' Collection, which has been confirmed for October but still no official date! I left with a lip liner and an eyeliner; nothing too exciting.

On the way back to work I walked through Target and noticed a 25% off Cosmetics sign.

I was particularly drawn to the brand Chi Chi which they stock at Target.

I've been meaning to try 'Chi Chi' lipsticks for a while now after seeing lots of YouTube Beauty bloggers reviewing them and also some friends of mine swear by them.

A lot of people compare the texture of them to that of MAC lipsticks and they have a good range of textures and colours available, all amazingly cheap and apparently good quality. What's not to like?

So of course I picked up a couple of things.

I just thought I'd do a quick post showing you what I bought and some time this week I will do a review with swatches.

Both of the lipsticks I chose are of the Matte finish because that's what I like in a lipstick. I find if you use a good lip balm/primer, matte lipsticks always stay put longer and are way more versatile, you can make them shiny by adding gloss if you want to as well.

The darker colour swatted on the right is 'Social Climber' described as a 'Rosy Beige Nude' via their website. I think it is more of a reddish pink nude when swatched but I'm yet to wear it on the lips.

On the left, the paler shade 'Sex Bomb' and yes, all of the names are a little... raunchy. This shade is much more of a soft, pinky nude described on the website as a 'Dusty Mauve Nude' again, I am yet to wear this lipstick.

I also purchased on a whim, one of their 'Creamy Matte Liquid Lipsticks' I purchased this because I'm hoping they could be a dupe of my much adored, Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro. The texture is a really nice, thick and creamy 'Liquid Lipstick' which dries matte on the lips.
